Quicksand Gold Trap Prospector

This unit is light and compact, weighing only 8 pounds. It can easily fit inside a 5 gallon bucket. Great for fine gold recovery up to 400 mesh! It comes with a 500 gph pump, 6.5 ft. 3/4 inch hose, fittings for the hose and instructions. Set up is easy and usually takes a few minutes. The unit is not for clay materials and needs 1/8 inch material or less. Cleanup is easy, dump into a bucket and pan the concentrates(about a 1/4 gallon). Each unit has been glued and screwed for maximum durability and can even be used as a step for a 200 pound person. 12 volt battery not included.

These units were designed for hard rock free mill gold ore but while I was testing they did really well with 1/8 inch classified tailings, sand, and black sand. I've run up to 40 gallons of tailings in this unit in an hour but 25 to 30 gallons is probably best for gold recovery. Black sand test was done with Cape Disappointment sand. I ran a 5 gallon bucket through in 20 minutes and recovered 60 percent of the gold(Double Black Diamond Dirt) this was the fastest it would process. The second test took about 35 minutes and recovered 75 percent.
